You’ll design, build, and ship high-quality software end-to-end in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll collaborate closely with product and design, own features from concept to deployment, and uphold engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs; contribute to frontend where needed
• Write clean, testable, secure code; conduct code reviews and improve CI/CD
• Design scalable architectures and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate on scoping, estimation, and release planning
• Document systems and mentor peers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering (or strong portfolio)
• Proficiency in one or more: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java
• Experience with a web framework (e.g., Node.js/Express/Nest, Django/FastAPI, Spring)
• SQL and data modeling; familiarity with cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Docker
• Strong testing and Git-based workflows

Nice to have

• React/Next.js or similar frontend experience
• Microservices, Kubernetes, and observability (Grafana/Prometheus)
• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or data engineering
