Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our Platform and API team. You’ll help design, build, and scale our backend infrastructure powering recruiter tools, job/resume analysis, and LLM workflows. You’ll work on performant APIs, secure multi-tenant systems, and integrations with cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js/TypeScript or Python
• Work with PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Supabase for data modeling and queries
• Design secure, multi-tenant architectures with Supabase Auth
• Develop internal event-driven systems using pub/sub, queues, or WebSockets
• Optimize hosting and deployments using Azure, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate external APIs
• Ensure code quality with tests and clear documentation
• Collaborate with frontend, AI, and product teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience
• Strong in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs
• Familiar with cloud hosting (Azure preferred), containerization, and deployments
• Experience with event-driven patterns, queues, or pub/sub systems
• Solid understanding of RBAC, multi-tenancy, and auth flows
• Bonus: experience with LLMs, LangChain, or Python AI tooling
